Why should we conserve water?

i have to do an assignment on an environmentally freindly house and must include info about water conservation, energy consumption and waste disposal. anyone got any ideas?

Yes, A lot of new hotel going up now recycle the water from the showers, you shower the water is collected and from a tank pumped back onto the roof and used to flush the toilets.

makes sense where water is short

Just buy a tank-less water heater. No water storage tanks just turn the faucet on and whamo. Instant hot water, and it saves big time on heating bills, because there is no water tank to heat.

It requires less electricity.

Storing water is a bad idea. Water can go bad with time, because it accumulates bacteria…

Well because we waste energy like crazy and there is

not much fresh water in the world there

is only 2% left..

And we should be grateful for the people that have

it many people around the world

don't have fresh water and that's why they get sick and die...

You should conserve water mainly to save on the water bills, but also to make sure that everyone else has enough water to use.

YES we should try to conserve water with out it we are all stuffed i think governments  around the world should find a way of removing the salt from the sea so its safe for use (drinking watering replacing water from river ways etc)water problem solved

Ground water is running out or low, without new dams we will need more water than is available in California. Georgia is wanting water from Tennessee.
