  1. because  crown land belongs to the queen most of the property in london belongs to the queen,

she gives us more than we give her ,

she has given her life to us

  2. One of the hidden benefits of a constitutional monarchy is in its impact on trade, and this applies to every monarchy across the globe. For example, the marriage of Princess Mary to Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark has led to a surge in trade between Australia and Denmark. Now the UK travel authority, VisitBritain, has revealed that 57% of visitors to the UK cite the monarchy as the principal reason for coming.

Here is an excellent statement made by group leader Gladaman under the network "Return of the King" on MySpce.com

"A constitutional monarchy can balance and protect against power hungry, dishonest politcians and against a majority that pursecutes or ignores pursecution of minorities. When a monarch is not facing re-election they can represent all the people and not just the group who put them in power. When a politcian knows that the power is not his/her's and the monarch knows he/she can only exercise power through the people there can be balance."

"All the power belongs to the monarch but that power can only be used by those elected by the people. A monarch can bring stability to a society that cannot decide between powerful groups in their country. A monarch can bring consistancy to foreign relationships when governments change. A monarch can be a trained, experienced, confidential advisor to politicians new in office. All these benefits can be enjoyed with a Constitutional Monarchy."

  3. The Queen of England should be a chess piece of the word "Infinite" wealth. A giver... mysteriously "breading" the world and making them all look better... THE END.

P.S. what the h**l do you do all day?

  4. Some argue that she increases tourism. If you go to Buck Palace in the morning in summer, the place is absolutely rammo with tourists to watch the changing of the guard so there might be some truth in it.

For me, the biggest reason to keep a royal family of some description is because if we don't have a Queen, will we have to have a President? At least the Queen is impartial, not corrupt with an overblown ego like some President's I could mention.

  5. Well, for a start, 82% of us want her to stay.

I personally feel she should stay because I want to honour my fore-fathers. My family can be traced far back to being part of a rescue of the young James I. If we don't remember and honour our ancestor's deeds then who will honour ours? And then what happens to our memory?

Not everyone's family didn't always win battles that involved the monarchy, in fact there may be descendants of the Danelaw here, but they should still be proud of the role their ancient's played.

  6. I'm Canadian. I hate having the Queen as the figurehead of my country!

    Break out the guillotine, revolution!
