but doesn't? All they'll do is continue not to work, suck off the government teat, and have more children than the woman who lived in the shoe. We need to change our system, now.

  1. I wonder if you would agree....when your turn comes???

you sound bitter! Hey why not blame everyone else????

  2. Civic Currency made by citizens. Once taught in schools to children then progress made untill then wellfare only option. The Gov said Civic Currency was wrong during The Cold War though it was called Communism then. Many people still think it is a threat.

Another point suppose people did not have to work do they really have to.

  3. It doesn't matter, if there are no jobs.

  4. It shouldn't. There are a lot of people out there, including me that are sick of paying people to be lazy and to have more children than they can afford.

Welfare was meant to be a hand up, not a life-time handout.

  5. A simplistic solution that will not work.

People will find a way to survive.

If they can't survive on welfare, they'll survive on crime.

Jailing them is more expensive than giving them welfare.

What would work better is restructuring the welfare system so it would reward people for working instead of penalizing them - the current system is a trap.

  6. i agree

  7. It shouldn't be given out willy nilly.  It should be for those who simply can not work because they are unable to.

I think those who are on the dole and who can work should be made to work.  What about tidying up the roadsides, harbours and other places that have so much rubbish about???  What about training them to do other work?

Unfortunately we are always going to get bludgers who are happy to sit around and let others do the work and get free money.

And I know not everyone on the dole is a bludger, but there are a lot of them.
