  1. cause they didn't in the 1950s which is why Philip Larkin, along with all other baby boomers, was so fecked up

  2. Ya, the professor is in.  Children have far more understanding then they can  demonstrate.  As they grow they do have things to say with a mind of their own; to ask questions and get answers.  Just conversation is something they tend to engage in and enjoy because they appreciate you and want to share.

For example: all children are born with a natural voice made for singing.  They will let you know when they are hungry or need a Didy changed.  As they grow, the are told to sit down and shut up.  What a shame it is that a music teacher has to go back and help them re-discover their natural voice, it is very OK to encourage expression.

  3. Your professor wants your opinions, not others.

    Good luck.

  4. So they can develop language skills.

  5. Children's personality's need to be nurtured to do so we as adults must be patient ( not always easy).Children's understanding of language is not as developed as our own therefore it takes them longer to formulate the correct response.

  6. Because every child is an individual and deserves respect and also that's how they develop their own personality by expressing what they feel and think;-)
