Are they necessary for a healthy life? What is a good multipurpose vitamin that i could take?

  1. Vitamins are necessary for a healthy life!

    Life is so stressful, rushed, and busy anymore that we often don't have the time nor the know - how to eat what we should to obtain all the healthy vitamins we need on a daily basis.

    There are many different types of vitamins on the market; most contain megadoses or vitamins that you don't need every day.

    What I recommend is taking ONE children's chewable vitamin, once a day, with your first meal of the day.  With taking a children's dose, the amounts will be smaller and you won't be taking huge doses of vitamins that will just be flushed out with your urine.  For instance, some advertisements recommend taking 1,000 mg of Vitamin C every day, or even every hour if you have a cold.  This is ridiculous and completely unnecessary.  With the children's chewable, you are getting 250 mg of vitamin C, which is closer to what you actually need.

    I recommend buying the store brand, its the same thing as brand name vitamins, for about $1 less.  You shouldn't be paying any more than $4.99 for a bottle of 100 children's chewable caplets.  Some of the brand name adult multivitamins sell for $11 (or more) for 60 tablets.


  2. Vitamins are not necessary if your eating healthy!

    However, sometimes in life that is VERY hard for us to do based on stress, time, life, etc.

    Vitamins help make up for this.  

    I trust the GNC vitamins that are based on your activity level!


  3. Vitamins are good for insurance.  If  you don't get all the vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and minerals from your diet alone it's good be sure the multi is doing it for you.

    Good for immune system.
