Question:

Why shouldn't I end my life?

People always say to stay positive. They say that things WILL get better. I understand that I have to put forth effort to make it better. But when you have nothing to strive for, no vision of happiness in your future, it's not easy. I'm about to fail out of college and I have no excuse for it. I want to feel better. I want to do better. But it seems like wanting is not enough. I'm searching for some kind of insight. Something that would really put things in perspective. Honestly, I do not have any reason to live. It may sound dumb but if you could feel what I feel you would understand.

  1. In the words of Perry Ferrell, "Every time I feel like commiting suicide, I say to myself 'let's just wait 5 more minutes'" It may sound silly , but it works. If you feel like checking out, wait two weeks. When that two weeks is up, wait two more weeks.

A lot of people stress themselves out because they're lives aren't "Ideal". Here's the thing, nobody's life is "Ideal". OK, You're flunking out of school. There's other ways to make a living.

You may not have a "reason to live" but you certainly don't have a "reason to die" either. Given the choice, I'd stick around a see what happens.
