  1. Horsybill. If you leave that's your prerogative. You did answer a question that I answered and I did call you out on saying I know nothing about breeding when I've in-fact been in the horse business for quite a long time now. But this is yahoo answers, it's a public forum. You're going to get your trolls, I know I have mine. But if it bothers you that much to leave because people don't agree with your opinion, then so be it. But you are a top contributor, so obviously you do give some great advice, so hopefully you do stick around.

  2. Hello,

Sorry your going....  Hope to see you in the group started by some horsey folks on here...

    Jen

  3. Answer: Because many of us don't want you to.  Why don't you just take a break, like I do.  So what if ignoramuses respond in such a way that is irritating.  Don't take it so personally.  I find some of the ignorant answers amusing, in a perverted sort of way, I guess.  And I learn a lot from some of you guys, and really appreciate it.  I like to hear other opinions.  It also reminds me how much I DON'T know.

Well, as someone said, it's your prerogative, but I, apparently along with many others, will  miss your insight and opinions.

BTW, what are Trolls?  Little people who thumbs down, or what?  Live in the shadow of bridges and only come out at night?

  4. I'm sorry, but I don't think that you should leave. If you are one of the few people that actually does know something (or alot-thing) about horses, then why not stick around to help the people who actually need your help and would appreciate it? That is just my opinion and if you wish to leave, then so be it.

    Happy riding

    *Edit*

Not to be rude either, but no one is forcing you to stay on the forum. You can come and go as youplease! That is the plus side of answers.  P.S. What is a troll?

  5. B-b... but we'll miss you! :(  Take care, horsybill. Happy ridings <3

  6. You did answer a question i had and it was just the way you said that other people had no idea, didn't know what they were talking about. You're not the only person in the world who has horses.  Everyone learns new things ever day.  Chill out, no big deal, don't let it get to you.  If you believe you are right, you are intitled to your own opinion! Smile!

  7. I like you!

I understand though...I'm sick of the juvenile "questions" that are on here.

And the "juvenile" answers and "experts"...that really have no clue about what it REALLY takes to deal with horses.

Many are not here to learn at all...they just want someone to 'think' for them and seek out public approval.  I get that from the 'questions' being asked..."Is my horse pretty?"  They are not interested in conformation just fishing for compliments.  BLECK!!

Leave for awhile if you must...and don't sweat people not agreeing with you.  We all train different, build our fences different, use crops and whips different, even our breeding practices are different.  That's what makes this a 'public' forum.  Ya get all kinds of experiences...and attitudes.

If you're not happy here...don't stay.  Who needs that?  Or lurk in the background like so many of us do now...and thumb.

You should check out a couple of groups MANY of us have joined...just to get away from the tweenies and trolls.  Email me if you're interested.

  8. There's no reason not to leave.  If you're sick of it, then go.  Take a break and try it again in a couple of months.  I did that once.  If you don't enjoy being here, then you should take a break, either temporary or permanent.  Life's too short to put up with c**p you don't have to.

  9. Bill,

You're an adult and you're letting the children get the best of you?

Guess I just must be more stubborn than the rest.

IF you're burned out, you should join the new horse group that Shadow set up!  We had a LOT of fun there today.  Got to see BB's new puppies, talk about spiders and of course, horses.

    BEST of Luck.

  10. Goodbye and good luck =]

  11. I had just joined, and  read your excellent answers. It would be a great loss if you should leave. Your a great contribution to Yahoo and all Horse lovers. Please give this a second chance, because we do need you here.

  12. Why would you let what other say dictate if you stay or not?  Just take a bit of time off and try again, never let what others say get to you...If you don't like what they say scroll on by those, its no biggie.

  13. Sorry to see you go.  I've enjoyed your answers as I'd look for you and a select group of other folks on here.  Keep on helping, it's obvious it's needed.  Buena Suerte y vaya con Dios

  14. I hope you'll change your mind.  You are knowledgeable and give good advice.  Many times even the experts can't agree on things...there can be several different right ways to do the same thing, and people become passionate about the way they feel it should be done.  YA needs people like you to share your experiences.  We learn from each other on here...please change your mind.

  15. Because sooner or later school will open up again. Trolls will grow up and go away and some of us will still be here.

  16. because all the little trouble makers are going back to school and wont have time to thumbs down you and all the rest of the stupid nonsense from the summer kids.  there are actually people out there that listen to top contributers.  if you can make one horse more comfortable with your answers that is a good thing.  i took the summer off , from this site, except to ask questions.  maybe just take a break and come back:)

  17. bye i didnt like you anyways you were very rude

  18. Why shouldnt you leave?

Because if you leave you let the trolls win

  19. I take breaks for months at a time, but always get back on when I get bored or am waiting for something (like an ebay item tonight). I do wish they could separate the real horse stuff from the kiddie c**p (look at my pretty horsie, what should I name my new horsie, how do you ____on howrse...) There is a lot of good stuff on here, but if you look at it as a competition then it gets to you too much.  Yeah, I used to be a top ten, but it is almost like work when you are on that much.  It is the same questions over and over, the same thumbs down to knowledgable answers that aren't what people want to hear (but really need to!) I can see your frustration, but I agree that you should just take a break.  Most of the idiots get bored and move on, so come back later.  See ya then!

  20. i couldn't agree with you more. there are many people on yahoo answers horses that don't know the answer to things... but give their own 2 cents on the subject... such as once i came across an answer telling people to put mouth wash on rain rot!!!! it is just unbelievable....

Very sorry to see a top contributor go... but if you must.. maybe you will come back to the future of yahoo horses!!! =]

Thanks for all your wonderful knowledge that you've shared with us!
