Why shouldn't they remove the sanctions on cuba?

i want to know why they shouldnt take the sanctions from cuba. why would it be bad and why it would be good.

Well I believe they should left this embargo, but then again I'm sure there's a good explanation why this embargo is still erected. It's a communist, socialist, authoritarian regime like right next to the U.S. The U.S. government claims they have political dissidents in prison. They have good relations with leftist and "axes of evil" nation's like Venezuela, Iran, Syria, North Korea and possibly others. So until democracy is fully restored in Cuba, this embargo will still stand.

Bad: Cuba is a communist-controlled country. Since the very beginning of Fidel Castro's regime, an unknown number of Cubans have been held in miserable, violent jails for simply opposing communism. There are people who were arrested in the 1960's for demonstrating that are still in these festering jails.

Another thing is, in many cases, communist countries provide for relatively lazy people as much as they do for hard-working people. A restaurant owner in Havana who works overtime to ensure the success of his business eats the same as someone who mops the floor in an office building.

People who try to escape Cuba and fail? They end up in miserable jails. The state does not provide for the imprisoned, the prisoner's family has to pay for his needs.

There are a long list of other things.

I don't think it makes sense to lift the embargo until ALL of the wrongly imprisoned Cubans are released.

Because it would be foolish to do so. The commies know not much about Human Rights. The commies can't have the cake and eat it too!!!!!!!!!

I think they should lift the sanctions.  They are pointless.  Are we not trading with China?
