  2. idk

  3. you can use petroleum jelly just dont use vaseline because it chews up and damages the plastic

  4. Not to be a wise ***, but why would you?

  5. Because it won't turn anymore.....

    and it smells horrible.

  6. The colour comes off?

I dno, but I've never heard that one lol

  7. These people obviously don't know a thing about speedcubing.

Anyways, you use it to make your Rubik's Cube faster, not slower. The only way it would make your cube slower is if you're dumb enough to put half the jar of jelly in it. But I'm SURE you already knew that. You're just not supposed to put petroleum jelly INSIDE the cube 'cause it eats up the plastic and makes your Rubik's Cube fall apart, not because the color scheme is gonna come off. Speedcubers use petroleum jelly in their Rubik's Cubes, but not all of them. Some of them use silicone for their own beliefs, like, that it's a liquid that can actually be removed, unlike petroleum jelly. Petroleum jelly is more like, once you put it on, it never comes off. Like the saying, " Once you turn Black, you never go back." petroleum jelly does come off though, but the residue stays there permanently. Uhh... Sorry I'm rambling on about unnecessary petroleum jelly and Rubik's Cubes topics...
