  1. Too expensive

    Too hard to store

    Too hard to transport

  2. because the companies have discovered the and enviromentalist love them.

  3. Hydrogen, as an alternative for fossil fuels, faces the following obstacles.

    - cost of production is high, and the conventional source of energy for hydrogen production is fossil fuel.

    - the way to transport and store hydrogen safely, especially in vehicles, is still not practical.

  4. It does require a lot more safety precautions for use. Remember the Hindenburg disaster-hydrogen is extremely flammable inflammable/'explosive.

  5. BECAUSE WE USE MORE ENERGY MAKING IT THAN WHAT WE GET FROM IT

  6. Because it takes energy to extract the hydrogen... energy which we may as well use instead of making hydrogen

  7. It is very inefficient to produce hydrogen from water by electrolysis.

Most of our electricity is produced by burning coal.

If you use that electricity to produce hydrogen to burn in a car, you release far more carbon dioxide and other pollutants to the environment than if you used that electricity to recharge the batteries of an electric car or if you just ran the car off gasoline in the first place.

Hydrogen itself is no more dangerous than gasoline, the concern about the safety of handling hydrogen is not the obstacle.

  8. This is because Hydrogen is explosive and Difficult to handle -It needs extra care and Safety Measures.
