Why shuldnt we eat anything during any eclipse day?

why shuldnt we eat or drink anything during solar or lunar eclipse?

There is a change in atmosphere and when we take anything, there will be a problem for digesting, etc. The system of our body accustom to the nature and the same will have a change, something may affect our system.

Only astrologers say that u shouldn't be eating on eclipses but other wise its ok with everyone. Astrologers feel that there are harmful rays emitted in the atmosphere because of Rahu/Ketu swallowing the Sun/Moon. Eclipses dont happen so often so for a change its better to fast.

That's only a false belief. Help yourself whether it is an eclipse day or some other day.

i never heard that maybe its bad luck? alot of people dont know when there is a solar eclips so i bet they ate

It during Solar eclips not every eclips, because the bactorial and viral growth rate is very high and any food prepared before the eclips should not be consumed, as it contimanates fast.

It is just another misbelief...on eclipse day we should not see the sun with naked eyes, bcoz when the eclipse opens the harmful rays directly enter eyes and causes "Macular burn" and thus blindness. For food, we can't look any relation like this.
