Why sky is look red?

i am live in san jose CA. right now is around 7:30 . i never see sky like this before. sky 's color look like red in yellow. did anyone know why..

at first i was think is because we have forest fire near there, so that maybe just smoke . but i didn't smell anything.

The sky is looking red because of the fires around you.

the sky where i live in cali looks red/purple/green/blue all different colors ALL the time during dusk...its only blue during the day time when theres sunlight.

OMG , i live there too .

idk why , but it freaks me out that the

fact its friday the 13th & the sky looks freakky .

There is a fairly large fire in Santa Cruz county, called the Martin Fire. That is likely the source. The smoke is very effective at scattering the red wavelengths of sunlight, thus producing the effect you see.  The smoke has risen off the surface beyond the fire, thus you do not smell it.
