Why so many Pit Bull attacks? ?

Here's recent attacks in the news and I have heard that only 1 out of 10 dog attacks get in the news.

  Because they are so common and they have ben bred to be a savage and aggressive animal down through history., It's really a mathematical  question, pit bulldogs+Owners=big trouble!

Pit bulls do not attack people anymore than any other breed of dog..it just gets in the news because the media likes a lot of sensationalism and pit bulls look scarier than a lot of other breeds.  Who would care if chihuahua attacks got reported each time they happened.  Don't believe the propaganda.

Because some people raise their pit bulls to be fighting dogs which is sorta how their breed was originally.

Pit Bull Terriers are the favourite breed of dog-fighters, and many sad and insecure people buy them because they consider them a 'macho' breed, and think they will enhance their own social standing or masculinity. These sorts of people train and encourage the dogs to be aggressive, making them more likely to attack people. If raised and trained properly by decent owners, Pit Bulls are no more dangerous than any other breed (the reverse is also true - a Poodle or a Labrador or any other breed can be trained to be aggressive). As the saying goes, there are no bad dogs, only bad owners.
