Why so many companies are still not using recyclable packaging?

With todays recycling programs in efect it really bothers me to see that many simple packages I can not recycle. From cold cuts to bird seed grocery stores are still full of stuff that one can not recycle.

Why are companies not forced to use recycled plastics and papers?

I agree, it's disgusting! Also, why do they still provide those stupid plastic bags for fruit and veg? Paper ones must be cheaper to produce for a start!

You can have an impact there...   Buy items that only come in recyclable packaging...   As a first consumer you do have a choice and you can have an impact.

I absolutely hate how much packaging used on simple things sometimes...
