Why so many surveys exclude the opinions of asian americans?

I came a cross a recent article on the TIME titled: "Dents in the Dream." The statistics in the article revealed the three major demographics in the US (Caucasians, African Americans, and Hispanics), but it didn't provide any data on asian americans. I've noticed this omission on many stat reports. I'm curious to know why so many surveys exclude the opinions of asian americans?

I think Asian people have more discipline and manners than black or white people and the Hispanics are pretty respectable too.

They seem to ignore Asian Americans. Possibly because they are the most successful of all minorities. Therefore they are generally wealthy or middle class like most white voters.

There are 10 million +/-  Asian Americans in the US. While they are a minority they are not a statistically significant minority and that is why they do not often appear in polls.

Asian communities withing the USA only amount to less than 3%  of total population therefore they are considered insignificent for polling data because their entire populations fall into amounts that are smaller than the margin of error.

Asian Americans should never be or feel disenfranchised no matter what percentage of the population they comprise.

They seem to Put Africans below whites in all the polls except crime,and i don't believe this compare white to Asians in academics and in crime and theire far below,,now is ther a affirmative action to bring up the white and black to Asians standards.no...there is no race issue..people should be looked on by who the are ethics values Morales,and the gov should be blind and judge you for who you are never by you color.
