  1. **** kickin time

  2. WTF is that word...is that supposed to be discussion?

NEVER MIND EVERYONE IT MEANS "QUARREL" I JUST GOOGLED IT.

Becuase everyone thinks their bike is the best.

Who gave me a negative answer??!?!...my answers at the best jesus

    OMG 10 NEGATIVE ANSWERS LOL

dont call them crotchrockets its called a sportbike you sound inbred

  3. when i was new to Y!A i would wonder the same but I see now it's just a past time. Something to make the day go buy at work. On the road, I still wave at the harley guy, no resentments or anything.

  4. It's your life.

    It's your money.

    Ride what you like.

    Ride Safe

  5. we've all got opinions on why our specific bike is either superior to other bikes in important facets, and less than superior in un-important ones...(or in some cases superior in all facets)

it's a good discussion, and enjoyable...

  6. ignorance, jealousy, attention starved etc etc

  7. safety.. one answer could possibly save a life (thats how i look at it)

ex. someone that wants a cbr 1000rr talked down to a ninja 250

  8. Two reasons that I can think of, neither one has any real merit.

    1.rider loyalty

    2. testosterone surges

Motorcycles are like suits.(clothing) one size or style does not fit all. If you broke the best bike theory down to the mathematical equations which took in to consideration all the rider variables, and performance requirements. The list of "the best motorcycle" would be at least two hundred bikes long. And that is a conservative number.

I'm a hardcore Harley rider. I'd rather ride cross country with one of the younger guys on a crotch rocket or gold wing than one of my "peers". Done it, and will continue to ride with people you "want to know" not because they ride brand X  like me.

WORDS OF WISDOM; don't ride with your mouth open unless you are wearing a full coverage helmet.

The shiny side always faces the sky.

If your flip-flops don't have steel toes, don't wear them when riding. Ride safe, and remember that the car driver will hardly ever see you even after they have run over you.

  9. people just like to argue about what and why they have what they ride, thats all.

  10. Ride what you want, as long as you can touch the ground with both feet flat at the same time when you're stopped.  If you can't ride what you want, then ride what you can afford.

    Keep the rubber side down.

  11. Everyone has different tastes.

My fiance is all about performance.  I care about capability and looks.  Thats why I'm riding a 1978 Honda CB400 and he just sold his 2004 Harley Sportster and is looking at 2000 - 2005 used Suzuki's.

  12. You should ride whatever fits your style and riding ability.  A lot of older, hard core riders with harleys look down upon guys riding street bikes, which drives me crazy. (Jack K excluded).

I feel it's not WHAT you ride, it's THAT you ride.

  13. no arguments, just banter.

  14. I don't care what you ride as long as you do it responsibly (this means more than a T-shirt & shorts with your Arai helmet) and have fun.  When I ride, EVERYONE gets a wave 9as long as I see you).

I ride a 2006 Kawasaki ZZR600.  It's not a "true" sportbike, and it's carburated. It's a bit heavy and handles a little slower than an R6 or Gixxer.  It's my second bike, since I totaled my lovely Suzuki SV650S in an accident (and tested my gear successfully, BTW).

Is it my last bike?  Nope.  Is it exactly what I want?  Nope.

Can I ride the p**s out of it?  h**l yeah!  Do I ride year-round unless the temps are below 20F or there is actual snow on the roads?  h**l yeah!  Do I love riding it?  h***s YEAH!

I know where I started, I know what I've got to ride now, and I have an even better idea of what will fit my needs in the future.  that's what riding is to me: getting better all the time and looking forward to graduating to the next level.
