Why so much hate?

I am afraid I don't know Christians who hate, but I know there are some.  Jesus teaches us to love, not hate.  Christians who hate have really not been born again in my opinion.  If you are born again you are in a constant process of growth and hate is sin.  We should not hate anyone.  We can dislike or hate what they do or stand for.  Who am I to cast the first stone when I am so guilty of sin myself, as we all are.  These are very misguided people. I love Israel and believe that we must love the Jewish people and Israel.  I support several organizations that support Israel, including Christians United for Israel, Bridges for Peace, Zola Levitt and others.  How can we effect the world if we are haters?  We can't.  Love was the first and foremost teaching of Jesus Christ.
