Why so much negativity against Ochoa?

Out of the top ten goal scorers in the league right now only two are Mexican, which Ochoa is one of them. Sven stated that he was going to call who ever seems to be in their best form and Ochoa is the Mexican forward in his best form at the moment or at least the most consistent. Martinez is up there but he scored 2 goals against Jaguares who are in terrible form so Sven probably took that into account. I thought that's what we wanted the best players instead of showing favoritism.

Probably because theres better people then Carlos Ochoa in the list Sven gave out. Like Guillermo Franco i prefer him over Ochoa. Vela of course. But yeah Ochoa is pretty good, he doesn't suck.

I think because he is going through an excellent moment, he is a good choice for the game vs Honduras.

I really don't know about World Cup material though. Well see how he holds up, and if he MAINTAINS his form. That'll be the key

I could see both sides of this argument. I personally liked Carlos Ochoa from back when before he left for Osasuna. He always seems to have good technique, good physique, and just plain good natural skill. But he's never been a consistent scorer anywhere's he's been. I'm glad he's gotten off to a good start this season, but also I wouldn't be surprised if ended up with only 6-7 total goals by the end of the tournament.

That's just how he operates. But personally I don't mind him being on the team. Most likely, he won't play since he has atleast 4 other players in front of him. Maybe it will him some confidence for the future.

its not negativity its because I have never seen him play in the seleccion that's all

but I give all my confidence to him

There is alot of negativitiy with a lot of the players from the seleccion right now, (you should know that becuase of the naturalizados).  Everybody likes different people no matter how they play or where they come from.  Wait till the game is over and repost your question about ochoa, you might shut alot of mouths or you might get yours shut.  

I favor temo, others dont, i favor leandro while others dont, i wish the would of took villapando instead of jesus corona, but thats soccer, we'll see what happens when it's game time
