Why so much static on my XM Radio?

Question

I just had my XM radio installed in my car by a car stero shop. All I get is static now on my radio, but when I touch the FM Transmittor I can hear it great but as soon as I move my hand it is all static again. Any advice? My XM radio is brand new??

XM sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!  Get Sirius. Way better.

yup,,loose connection somewhere in the antenna system

The antenna is bad or the unit is bad..I'd go back to the stereo shop and let them see what's going on...
