It could study specific institutions in relation to society as a whole. Its undetakings could be based on groups, communities, nations, regions, international, or global. It problematizes macro, mezzo, and micro phenomena of social life. It is the queen of the social sciences because it studies societies and the social interactions taking place within them, be it economic, cultural, political, social, communicative, etc.
