Why some cats' nipples are more obvious than others?

I found a feral cat in my community. It seems like she is a kitten. However, her nipples are very obvious. Compared to my house cats, they are spayed under 1 years old and their nipples are not so obvious. Is this phyical difference caused by spay?

She might have had kittens or it's just a thing that differs from cat to cat. Spaying could have something to do with it, as she no longer has all the hormones for having kittens. She could also be pregnant. I would contact someone who could care for her and possibly her kittens.
