Why some cults have gathered hundreds or persons ?

sometimes millions and the leader have done or do what he whats with th followers and a person preching the Bible truely sometimes do not arrive to have even one person to listen ?

Marketing.  Cults know how to market, look pretty on the exterior, and make thinly veiled false promises.  Their outreach is usually well developed, and the successful ones know how to prey on those who may feel most lost and lonely (note the cults do well at colleges)
