Why some girls dance with me but never talk to me after?

i asked some girls at the school dance and it went well with grinding and all that but after that night they havent talked to me at all. i will go say hi but they just mutter hi and look away. why?

Trust me, at my school (it's all-girls), it's like this huge competition to see who grinds with the most guys.

We don't care with who, we just to it because it makes us feel better about ourselves

My advice... find girls other than dancing with them. They probably don't want anything to do with you

They just wanted to dance. Just because they agreed to dance with you doesn't mean they wanted to be your friend.

Sadly it's like a competition at most schools. Girls just want to be the girl who grinds with the most guys. Try meeting girls BEFORE a dance and go to the dance with them, it'll keep this problem from happening in the future. The only other thing I can think of is that when you asked them to dance they don't want to say "no" because that's rude and they think more people will see you say no when you ask to dance and less will notice if they just ignore you.

Mean, but that's how some girls are.
