Depends on the nature of the teasing. If it's affectionate it means they fancy you. If it's a bit cruel then it's because they think it's funny and they don't really care whether you mind.

They tease their girl friends for the fun of it...they don't do it to make us feel bad or anything, but they do it because it's just enjoyable for them. especially high school guys...they like to mess with their girl pals alot..they do it either because it's fun, they like them more than friends, or they just do it to make others laugh...

it could be considered verbal abuse if it goes too far

where to draw the line? well when you think that their going too far and if you think they're hurting your feelings and getting too tough on you, then tell them to stop in a serious manner

It's a game. Blokes are not going to tell women they aren't hooked up with their intimate feelings. These friendly teases are usually their way of saying they want to know you. There could be instances where corrupt blokes want much more out of you than friendship and this is because they are immature and have low self-esteem.

Young men don't know how to speak to girls, don't understand girls. As they get older they stick close to their mates and gang up on girls because they are frustrated. And then you have the extreem where guys turn on girls just to be nasty, but really it's because they are totally fed up with the mystery and challenge of it all.

It does't help when girls are being b*****s either. Society is messed up.
