Why songs are not supported in my cell phone?

my cell phone is nokia 5300 ,some songs don't open it says its not supported and its unable to delete

It all depends on the encoding used for the file, obviously the phone cannot handle all possible file formats.

Use Nokia PC Suite's Music Manager to handle file conversion and copying to the phone.
