  1. I quit working just last week to go back to school. I want to make something of myself, I didn't want to stay in retail forever. Going full-time is a lot faster than taking a few classes here and there. I know I'm not old, I'm only 23, but I feel like I should have more accomplished by now, in terms of a house, a family, etc. Getting a well-paying job with my degree would help me accomplish these things.

  2. Often you can be more successful in life the more educated you are. If someone is pressuring you to go back to school they have good intentions but you have to go when you're ready to go or it will just waste your time and money.

  3. Because stress often comes from being in the wrong profession.  Going back to school should give people a better chance at finding a profession that suits them better.

  4. People at work ... depending where you work some are rude, don't believe in teamwork, and depending where you work the pressure.

In school is a different stress but, the person is learning a different trade and knows it will land them a better paying job so, the stress level is very different and everyone in school are there for same reasons.

  5. For most, it's because they can't function at work or school.  Those who can't understand what it's like to be in that shape s/b grateful that they don't have the problem instead of being judgmental about it.  (Not saying that you are.)
