  1. they should worry bout grades..thats why they in school

  2. They should worry about grades. They may get a scholarship to play in college, but what happens when they have to enter the real world or they get hurt? Sounds corny, but an education is the best thing you can get.

  3. Sports players in my high school had to have a C or above in order to play. And that was (2003-2007). And they still need to have a C or above in all their classes in order to play.

The college I go to require their players to have a 2.5 GPA in order to play.

I don't know where you're at where they're not requiring to have athletes have a certain grade in order to play.

  4. They don't. In my school you can't get anything less than a C or you get suspended from the team until you get the grade up. If you get an F you are kicked off. I just go to an ordinary free public high school.. so I don't know what your talking about.

  5. That's not true. In my old highschool, if you got a C or lower in any class they took you off the team until you brought your grade up or went for tutoring. The captain of my lacrosse team was not allowed to play in one of our biggest matches because he got a C- in Physics. But you're in school to learn, and very few will actually make it into college sports. So its foolish to put sports ahead of academics.

  6. in my school district you need atleast a C average to be eligible.

  7. i don't know where you go to school, but in my highschool people who wanted to play sports had to maintain a certain GPA in order to be on the team..  if you can't do well in school, you shouldn't be doing something like playing sports, when you should be working on your studies.

  8. in my school u have to have a C average but the kids at my school like me are mostly conserned about a sports scholarship. My parents can not afford for me to go to college so i need a scholarship to help me out a little.

  9. h**l no. your there for school and not sports. even if you go pro you need something to fall back on.

  10. what are you talking about?

school athletes have to have a certain average to continue.

in my school you cant be failing or else you cant even practice.

if you have below a c average you can practice but cant compete/do games.

so idk what youre talking about or what youre on.

  11. at my school the only way you get kicked off a team is if you get 2 F's

  12. All schools and states have grade point requirements for athletes.  If you know of someone who is failing all classes and still playing sports, report the school to the state athletic association.  If they get caught, the school will have to forfeit all games in that sport.
