If you're talking about the olympics, it's probably because they want good ratings, and most people are more interested in other sports. Also they focus especially on events where Americans are supposed to get gold.

If you catch the online Olympic Feed, I'm sure it'll have all the coverage you could ask for.

Remeber on NBC, etc. they want to get ratings and will show the stuff that gets the most ratings.
