Why take Pot shots at Palin?

And, she inhaled. At least its not Cocaine, like George's habit.

I honestly don't think things like that acutally matter. Bush did cocain and was a drunk. Obama did cocain and Pot. Bill inhaled and is addicted to s*x. Cindy was addicted to prescription meds. McCain was/is a womanizer.

People are human and things like that should never come into play. I think all should be judged on their decision making processes related to policy.

Compare any of the above mentioned to Marion Barry.  I think he wins the prize.

I am not sure what else there is to do in Alaska other than to hunt, get pregnant, ride snowmobiles... and build igloo's.

What I hope is that she is able to do something about fuel prices with all the resources they have in alaska for oil drilling I think it could really help the economy.  That seems like it would help more people than anything else that either canidate stands for.

I am a 50 year old woman. I am a Registered Nurse. Just as soon as I am absolutely sure that I don't intend to practice anymore(which will be in the next 5-7 years I hope). I absolutely intend to smoke pot. I smoked pot in the 70's and loved it.It's nothing to be ashamed of. The only problem with is that it is illegal. When a person is under the microscope like a Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate the media and the "other side" will drag any and everything that ever happened in a persons past to the fore front if they think that they can damage that persons reputation or good name. I have heard everything from "Why did Palin "choose" to have a Downs Syndrome child!! How ridiculous is that, we don't choose to have mentally challenged children but we certainly don't have to abort them because three to four months into the pregnancy we find out they are flawed.Anyway, I digress, the issues are not her children (lord knows there but for the grace of God go I with my two boys when they were teens) the issues are economics, clean energy, jobs, regaining our country's good name and powerful, knowledgeable leadership to bring about reform. Not who smoked pot when or tried a little coke, or had a retarded child or has a pregnant teenager. I wish America would just grow up.
