Why teach playschool??

Because you get to watch a miracle in action!  When you see the light of understanding in a child's eyes, it's an amazing experience.  If you like being silly, playing with mud, wiping tears, giving hugs and being active, preschool is a great place to do these things.  Not only do I enjoy watching the kids have new experiences, I get to do them, too.  I may be a grownup but I hope I never lose my curiosity and enthusiasm for new things.  Kids help keep those things in my life.

do you mean play school or pre school.. people teach pre school cuz they love kids and want to help them learn new things... Now play school is where kids want to be it challenges them and helps them learn new things its a fun and incredible learning experience. Every one has different ways of teaching playschool they just need to find the best one.

Well some people just love being around kids. There are some couples out there that can't have children, and so they like teaching children and being around them.

Spending time with children and aiding in their development can be rewarding. Watching as they develop new skills and seeing them develop their own little personalities. I won't kid you there are days you want to pull out your hair and scream, but then there are those moments when they give you a hug or say something adorable and it makes your heart melt.

I went college and majored in child and family.  I've been teaching preschool since 1990.  Sometimes I wonder why I do this, but it's the only thing I know.  I guess I enjoy it.  The kids are also very cute.

Because that is when the children start to develop study habits and learning  habits so if you make learning fun at that age when they are really excited to learn it will help them do better throughout the rest of their school career

Can you imagine seeing things for the first time?

Every day I teach, I see things for the first time(again)!

Seeing the world through the eyes of a child is simply amazing!

Everyday I teach, I learn something new too!

This is not a job where you get to see the impact you have on a child's life, you just have to have faith that what you are doing makes a difference.

My general philosophy is to get down at the child's level and see things through their eyes. So much so that I have dedicated my two websites to that philosophy!
