Do you think the lakers should might had learn his pass mistake, but defense win title this day since 04, yes that year, they got tons of allstar veteran but not mange to beat the unknow pistor roster at that time, they beat them cause of defense, same with the spurs year pass down and now the celtics, should the lakers learn by now? they trade away turiaf, didn't get any defense guy, they need to worry since hornet and rocket got defense arnsenal.

  1. the lakers know how to win championships, they have 14..but the celtics have 17 if you catch my drift =) but yeah, its pretty dumb the lakers cant get much defense..they're so used to just playing offense and running all the time that they forget that defense is the other half of basketball. they shouldnt have passed on artest, but at least with artest in houston..you could hope to get battier.

  2. Shut up ... they know how to win Championships that's why they have won 14 ..

Lakers just lost to better and much ready ( veteran ) and much hungry team Celtics

Next season they will be ready!

And they didn't trade Ronny .. they couldn't offer him ... plus his play time will be low so ... they thought it isn't worth it

  3. Rockets are going to soar by them now because with artest we are looking at a remake of last years Boston team.! laker's should have signed artest and that would have solved your problem

  4. Agreed, defense does win games, but when you have 3 all star players and home court advantage how can a team compete. The lakers did not match up well. If the lakers had a KG and Ray Allen they would have won without defense.

  5. their coach is more of an offensive minded coach then a defensive minded one, hes more worried about offense then defense
