Why the Perpetual Motion Machines are not Patented???

  1. The previous responders are absolutely correct.  

    If you talk to one with a perpetual motion machine in his garage, he will tell you that he will not patent for fear of someone stealing his idea.  Truth is he does not want his fantasy challenged.  He will not listen to criticism but rather say everybody is crazy/ too slow/ not visionary enough to understand.  


  2. seeing as no perpetual motion machines exist....

    it is physically impossible.

    if you invent one, you will be a very rich man.

  3. For the same reason that the material in Superman's cape is not patented. Both the cape and the perpetual motion machine are impossible fantasies. And those of course are not patentable.
