Why the black man monkey connection?

I went to HS at Robert D. Edgren which is located in Misawa Japan in Aomori-Ken

My football coach was named Anthony ruffin He recently died last week From cancer.

He was the origin of the "ruffin roll" when the person with foot ball is coming towards you you dive-roll and aim just below the knee because "dey caint run if dey dont got dey legs"

During practice if we had any excuse for anything he would say "that's yo monkey" "keep yo monkey on yo back" meaning do not let your problems effect others, and to this day I try to live by that.

Have you ever received really good advice but they way its said to you is so ridiculous it makes it hard to recognize how good itis

I had a teacher who said people with black souls need to cover it with white out.  She meant people who are filled with greed and anger need to replace those emotions with positive ones.  The white out part was weird to me because I only think of white out when I am wiping out something...or sniffing it heehee...I don&#039;t sniff it anymore.
