Why the blame on Dusty Baker for the misfortunes of Cubs pitchers?

Is it because of Kerry Wood and Mark Priors' injuries? This is the first time I hear that a manager is at fault for his pitchers injuries. Can you explain why?

  1. just the cubs trying to put the blame on the manager because their team had a bad record. wood and prior both have been on the DL this year as well, but i guess it is becuase they pitched too much 9 years ago.

  2. prior and wood were both very young talented pitchers and a lot of people believed they were overworked and that what messed up there arms.  Weather its true or not there is no real way of knowing for sure

  3. The manager always gets the blame.   It's just part of the job.
