Cricket is not famous in USA as it has never been appreciated there. Atmost,people who play cricket there are asians. It the same like,,,

Americans have such a wide selection of sports to choose from over the period of time that Cricket is generally played, but the ICC (the international cricket board) are continually pushing cricket upon the USA, hopefully in a decade or so Cricket will catch on.

Mainly because lifestyle in the US has become one of requiring instant gtratification.  To appreciate cricket one needs to be patient and understand the thrill (especially from test cricket) of a hard fought draw played over five days.  Simply speaking our Amercian friends just couldnt tolerate this as they MUST have a winner... and it must be something that can be achieved in a time no greater than a couple of hours (at most).

That is why here in USA, we have driver on opposite side same with traffic, power 120V, switch turns on the opposite way, ha ha and lots kg-lbs and so many more!

Cricket is famous in all countries that England colonised. Howver, the USA rejected anything British at the Boston tea party... way back when they were fighting for there independance. Thats why it isnt famous there!

Hi, Being a criketer & a sports person, i dont play games like Base ball, Ice Hockey, Beach Volley ball & many other game which i watch only when Olympics goes on...This is because, i dont see many palying this in Inida or keeping a TAB on such games...VIS VERSA, USA, are not kepping a TAB on Cricket, once WE,INDIANS start focusing on other sports, this, USA, peoples will start focusing on Cricket...Irrespective on WHO is Interested on which format of the game (TEST,ODI,T20).
