Why the double standards on race issues?

Rage Against The Machine sang of driving around a rich white area with a shotgun, apparently to shoot white people - and sell their albums to white people. A guy in Jena Louisana was sentenced to 4 months in jail last week though for hanging nooses from his truck bumper and driving by a group of black people. Why is it ok, even crazy popular to hate white people, but a crime to hate blacks?

I can't believe you are even asking this.... the first example is a song so it's fantasy... the second is real life and suggests a threat and is  and intimidation the song breaks no laws the idiot with noose on his truck broke FEDERAL LAWS, before you go to do something stupid make sure you know the possible consequences
