Why the double standards?

Why do people comply to the sexist double standards that only oppress our womyn. for example, the "beauty" standard of where a womyn has to be underweight and have a facial complexion of a girl instead of a womyn's face. is it just me, or does any one else see this sickening injustice and are angry about it

the double standard exists because of the fashion industry not wanting to use women who represent the real female anatomy and instead sell dreams of an impossiblity

i personally have yet to see any of the clothes modeled by a size 0 worn by anyone in the real world

Men are also expected to have washboard abs, a strong chest and arms, and be well-kept in order to be "beautiful".  There is no double-standard.  women are just more forgiving of a man's faults than men are of a woman's.

A good woman/womyn, is not based upon her weight.

Nor her bra cup size.

i don't know... how come when i go to the store lookin nice in a tight shirt with makeup on the guys are opening the doors for me and pumping my gas?

if i see a good lookin guy i'm not going to bother opening the door for him.

I wear my beard proudly, it can be very pretty in a certain light.

The only double standard exists when women use their looks to their advantage when it suits them but cry foul when they are judged fairly or when they are expected to be responsible for their actions.
