There were plenty of trees, especialy on the outskirt of city as has been told by old folks. Now all gone, replaced by buildings, flats, apartments. Sorry state of affairs.

In Dubai and the entire UAE (beside the desert of course) you'll find the following kind of trees:

Ghaff,

Palm,

Yasar,

Farfar,

Cassia senna,

Neem,

Sidras and Mangroves.

Do you know that the UAE is a biggest dates exporter after KSA? These dates are not growing on bushes. They grow on TREES!
