Why the engineering colleges are asking a huge amount of fee than the fixed one?

This is happening in all engineering colleges nowadays even in my college also...

You see that the good ranking colleges have a greater demand for money for a seat compared to the colleges which are lower in ranking. It is also because of payment you get after completing BE, good jobs even offer 80000 per month salary for software engineers. It is also because now a days there are many people who can pay 10 to 15 lacs for engineering seat.

One more reason is that private seats are completely under the institution no one will ask even if they charge 50 lacs for a engg seat.

Probably because engineering schools are specialized schools; like geared towards certain majors and studies. You can't get that at every college.
