why venezuela fuel prices are .14 cents per gallon and brazil doesnt use gasoline for their cars, and why we are paying more than 4.00 dollars per gallon? who we are making rich? who are the responsibles for maiking it harder for us to live like descent human beings. and also why the richer here in the united states gets richer and the poor gets poorer, and why the rich tell the poor what to do, how to do it and when to do it when theres more poor people than rich people? why the poor allows the rich to control their lifes? theres only a handful of rich people and millions and millions of poor people, but the handful of rich people have control over the lives of the millions and millions of poor people. and my question is why is that? why the poor wants the rich to dictate their lives?

  1. venezuela sits on top on huge amounts of crude oil reserves, they also subsidize a huge percentage off the costs.   brazil runs a similar economy that midwestern states do, they run both gasoline and and E85 blend.  however, brazillian refineries choose to distill their ethanol using sugar cane as a feedstock, which in turn is up to 20% more efficient than corn based feedstocks.  as for the cost issue, our economy is struggling, and as with other things, prices are going up.

  2. Venezuela doesn't experience the transportation costs associated with gas in America, there are also more environmental regulations in the U.S. and greater demand which causes the price to increase.

The poor don't want the rich to dictate their lives, but in order to earn money, you have to work hard, not everyone can be a ceo because a ceo has to do hard work,  thats why rich people are rich, they do jobs that not everyone can do. Doctors, Lawyers, Judges, they all have what are called entry barriers, you have to have degrees, experience, etc.  to get to those positions, which are high paying, which takes a lot of work to do.  Some people don't have the opportunities of others or the necessary tools to get to that point, or some people just don't want to be a really rich person.

To answer why the rich get more rich, its because it takes money to make money.  You have to invest or build your own company to seriously be rich, you can't put your money in a mattress and expect to be rich.  You have to make your money work for you, you shouldn't work for your money.

  3. the venezuelan government subsidizes the price of gasoline, using the revenue they receive from selling oil.  they can afford to do this because they are a net exporter of oil, and oil is very very expensive right now, so they are making lots of money.    If you take a longer term view, the countries that are getting rich on oil now, will eventually be without that source of income as the world eventually consumes all the available oil.  this will happen unless we can discover non-carbon based forms of energy production.

As to the issue of the poor allowing the rich to make decisions, education is part of the problem.  The poor, on average have less education, and therefore struggle to see through the false arguments and lies that are often used to get them to vote for people who only help the rich.

Also, the structure of power in America has evolved over hundreds of years to the point where it is difficult to get the best information to the poor people to help them understand how to vote in their own best interests.   Much of the media has been allowed to be bought up by private interests with a political agenda, and it is affecting the quality of information available to people.

Generally, power corrupts, and greed leads to excess, and the wealthy and powerful sometimes will go too far and spark a backlash or a revolution.   In America, because we are a democracy, we will probably avoid outright revolution, and instead find that a populist political agenda will eventually secure enough votes to restore more power and rights back to the common person, taking some of the power back from the wealthy.

So spread the word of truth and your vision for what is right and you can help people understand how to vote in their own best interests and how to support a political agenda that restores the best parts of our past, and builds new ideas for the future.

    Thanks for  a great question.

  4. dude thats messed up. .14 a gallon. America needs to do something.

  5. Because the Venezuelian gov't subsidizes a lot of the cost of gasoline.  Also the demand is lower per capita.
