  1. He didn't get further than he did last year...its just like Venus, she's not moving anywhere cus this year she got to where she got last year...winning it.

  2. In Tennis,.... rankings is not all about who beat who because in that case Rafael Nadal would be number one right now. Tennis is a a sport so people will lose some and win some. You may be the best ever but may lose to a lower class person. It is how you play and the way you play. Just because you are number one doesnt mean you dont lose. it means you play at a higher level.....Not to be erragant but life isnt fair!

  3. yea, surprising isn't it? but i think they calcute the point depending on how far u progress in the tournament rather than who u beat. winning gives u most points and decreases in that order up to first round appearance

  4. last year he went to 4th round wimby. and this year he also went to 4th round wimby. so he didn't get points or lose points.

it doesn't matter whom you defeat. it is all determined by points (ATP ranking points). if you win a slam, you get 1000 pts. if you be a finalist in a slam you get 700 pts. since tipsarevic went to 4th round wimby, he get 150 points (doesn't matter if he beat roddick or not).

  5. Maybe he didn't have eough points to move further up.
