Why the h**l are my dvd drives showing as "dvd-ram" and "cd-rom" PLEASE HELP!? will send $20 paypal ?

I don't understand, In the bios and the my computer screen, it's listed as dvd ram and cd drive. but when I check in properties it's showing the names which 2 are samsung and 1 is optiarc. It used to show the names in the bios and my computer. Someone please help! I will send someone $20 using paypal to whoever can help me with this. IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!

the samsung and optriac are the company name

u double click on it and ssee

Why is this such a problem?  As long as your drives wok ok I doubt it makes any difference to the way the pc has named the drives.  If you are confused about dvd-ram, dvd ram is another format of disc like dvd+r or dvd-rw, its not widely used and most stores do not really stock ram discs, or very little of them.
