  1. Dang that's so weird that Mac D's sells beer in france. Crazy! But it's probably a good thing or else all h**l would break loose!

  2. because we live in a nanny state

    such a shame

  3. McDonald's positions itself as a family restaurant and so does not sell alcohol. European culture is different.

  4. America....gotta love it.

  5. you can go into a movie theatre in Amsterdam and buy a beer. And I ain't just talkin no paper cup, I'm talking about a GLASS of beer! And in Paris, you can buy a beer at McDonalds. And ya know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Paris?

  6. Have you ever noticed there a lot of teenagers working at McDonald's?  You have to be over 21 to be able to sell alcohol.

  7. cool im going to france!

  8. i didn't know they did that in France.. im a mcdonald virgin anyway but i still think this is a great idea and a much healthier choice than coke

  9. In US classified as fast food joint, not a BAR or wine cellar classification.

Depends on what food permits they take out and buy.

  10. better question.... why the h**l would you want beer from mc donalds?!

  11. no one old enough to serve it  and no one smart enough to operate tap works there

  12. wow...i need to go to france.  stupid american mcdonalds.

  13. Because the drinking age is 21 here and in france it is 16(i think) ,and alot of people here do not want their kid around people that have been drinking

  14. Because beer is not good for you.

  15. because Americans would abuse it...get drunk at McDonald's...and then killing ourselves..and we would ruin it for everyone.  its best that they keep it away from us..

  16. Whoa.....I wish they had that here

  17. You can thank the US government for that.

  18. Because It's a kids "Restaurant" :P

Maybe the Drinking age is different over there =]

  19. Because countries in Europe have laws that are more lenient that the ones here. They accept drinking as a thing to do with dinner. Many people start drinking wine with dinner in the their early teens. It leads to less alcohol abuse when they get older.

If it bothers you that much, order your food to go and go home and drink your own beer.

  20. WHY DON'T YOU ASK THE QUESTION  why is our mcdonalds cleaner and more healthier than those in the UK.

  21. are you stupid mcdonalds this a family place leave it alone stupid

  22. Well, in France alcohol is a sign of enjoyment........... people don't drink too much and have only about a glass or two per day......... but if there was beer in Mc Donald's here, then people would take advantage of it and get drunk. In our country, alcohol means getting high and drunk....... not good. So don't get addicted. Did you know that alcohol can damage every organ in your body no matter how much you drink? Too much alcohol can even lead to comma or even death. Hope this helps. Stay safe and God bless ya!

  23. coz we have a law

  24. Because McDonalds is predominately for children (hadn't you realised?)

  25. So that kids won't get drunk.

  26. Because there would be too many clowns getting drunk in a place where there are a lot of kids.  If you need a beer that bad, buy your big mac and take it to a bar.

  27. They do it in Germany too. Beer is a staple in Germany. Not so much in America, even though a lot of people do drink it.

  28. Because we aren't France.

  29. because it's a family establishment where there are children. In Europe, you can also bring your dog into almost any restaurant. That's a health code violation here.

  30. em what the. lol Im european and we certainly dont sell beer in mcdonalds!! where did u hear that? and the drinkin age is 18.

  31. Because Americans take advantage if things like that.
