  1. Gahh, I am sick of people whining about that, 'oooh, blah blah the drums sounds tinny'. He tried something different, I think it worked because I think St. Anger's a really good album despite what everyone else thinks.

*Although, the sound quality does leave quite a bit to be desired.

  2. when i first got the album i thought my stereo was bust, i think its his snare that is tight thats all, does sound abit weird, but cool too!!!!

  3. Yea it is kinda made of UBERFAIL isn't it?

Kinda sounds like Billy Bob down at the machine shop got drunk and went off on the press don't it

  4. I don't know why he is banging on a metal can but it's gets on my nerves every time hear ST. Anger.

  5. Its the way that album was mixed.  The producer Bob Rock was going for a garage sound, so he used the oldest PA system he could find to use during recording.  Its one of the main reasons why the album did not sell nearly as well as hoped, and Bob Rock was replaced by Rick Rubin for their next album.

  6. In spite of what people say there are some good songs on that album

    The Unnamed Feeling

    Purify

    Shoot Me Again

but the drumming on the rest is like a tin can alright!
