Why the h**l is Patrick Ramsey the backup instead of Hackney?

Darrell Hackney embarrassed him in preseason and training camp, and after playing great against the Cardinals, he gets rewarded by being cut?

Ramsey got picked so high in the draft the year he was drafted.... not really that high.... but he was a draft pick. Hackney came out of nowhere and they just didn't think they needed him. Hackney was a huge ************ though. He didnt look bad either.
