Why the h**l is Veoh.com banned in Malaysia?

I don't see why the government needs to take such rash, irrational and childish measures. This morning I opened my veoh account and BOOM "veoh is not available in Malaysia". Gosh.. and I had a significant amount of respect left for the government and this????

HUMANS IN GOVERNMENT?? Are you scared that a few Japanese variety shows or dramas or funny videos from overseas will de-stablise the country??? WHY??? PLEASE ANSWER!!!

PLEASE! This step is equivalent to forcing women to acquire family permission to travel out of the country. GOSH.... why?????? Why Veoh??? I hear youtube's been banned as well..... why???? cause you wanna promote Lepak.tv?? I hope that's not banned as well.

Hi,

Malaysian Gov. didn't banned Veoh. Actually Veoh says that Malaysia have low concentration of users... means, very low Malaysia browsing Veoh. I dont know why, Its not rational laa... because I use veoh everyday.

Solution:

You can search for "online proxy+anonymous" or "web proxy" using search engine and use it for browsing Veoh's videos. I've done it and it works. But, you need to try many proxy because only proxy that inside the unrestricted country by Veoh (such as US) can be used. Just try 2 to 3 web proxy. But this is a little bit slower than usual speed (like you have 100kbps and when using web proxy you get 70kbps... like that).

lol, today i try to log in to the site...and look at this....Veoh really sucks....they ban an entire country for the action of few....good decision...long live Veoh!! :)))) now, i`m just counting the days until the closure.

Government didnt ban it brother veoh did. Veoh was a substitue of DIVx stage6 which is a legend site. I loved it. Stage6 was so great. VEOH people are sick and they banned the content for our countries because thay say there are no users in the banned countries and we are wasting our resources in these countries.

First stage6 shut down and ask us to go to veoh but now it banned my country. WTF are you doing?!!! This is wrong!!! I have been their member for a long time and this is how you repay me and other loyal users from my country?... Shame on you...

I`s not doing by gov. It is veoh action by their own, my suggestion all of banned country user uninstall veoh TV try another website, a lot of sites found better than veoh out there.let  throw away veoh into the trash
