Why the mall and nothing else?

it doesnt make sense how people go to the mall and shop there are no commercails for it and the stuff is more expenmsive now i mean shop there too but people are obsessed i dont get it

well you could go to a store that the mall has but is in a different place besides the mall but why waste gas going from store to store like that when you can go to the mall and walk from store to store. and you can just walk around the mall and not get bored like if you go to kohls or something and walk around it...........

some people go not only for the items

they may go for the food, looking around at people and also to enjoy the aircon

some go there to get idea for their own business or pricing for their own business

soime student go t here as a meeting place (more interestuing than school canteen right)
