Why the misconception about conservatives?

you libs have this Idea that we are all sexists and bigots and homophobes and such...............McCain will win this election because conservatives have noting but respect for a strong second amendment lady with 5 kids and executive experience

Its interesting that Reagan and Republican conservatives have promised  a smaller government and less intrusion in our lives and yet None of them have delivered.

So why should I expect any different from McCain/Paulin .
