Why the obsession with Y/H 'Points' ? Which I notice many .....?

people have ! Is this a reflection on the direction Society is going ? Personally I don't give 2 hoots how many I have - it dosen't make me a better person (or for that matter any wealthier). I thought the Idea of this Site/Platform was to share knowledge & Learn ? And on a more Social Level Interact with likeminded homosapiens ?
