Why the "teleprompter" lie? Of all the republican lies, the "teleprompter" lie seems to be a favorite. ?

Why not attack Obama on his economic stand or his foreign policy?? But no - it's this stupid "teleprompter" lie - "Obama can't speak without the teleprompter". Obama is one of the best speakers ever to run for president.

So why would republicans waste their time with this one? Is it to cover for McCain's dismal speaking style? Of is it just fun to repeat a lie?

You only have to read a headline to see that Obama is using a teleprompter... You have to read the whole article to understand his economics. See where I am getting at.

Its actually a typical Republican move, impugn his intelligence, something you can't really hide in politics anymore.

Bush can't even deliver a speech with a teleprompter.

But I do think this one came when his teleprompter failed and he lost is place in his speech, a common enough occurrence, but they harped on this.

Obama hit it out of the park tonight, and I'm not a fan.  If his teleprompter was responsible, then the Republicans better make sure they rent the same machine.

The presidential debates will definitely either confirm or deny whether this issue is a lie or not.

It does seem as though he tries very hard to avoid debates in which the questions are rather random.

It's the only way they can explain a good speech after the day's of Bush, a good speech seams so weird to them... they have to down play it some how, using the teleprompter line must be the best they can do... kinda sad...

His teleprompter would do a better job as President than him. Obama can't deliever a speech even WITH the d**n thing!

Oh - and it's hard to attack him on anything else when even HE doesn't know how he plans on changing our country. He quotes - "A Change We Can Believe In."

Well, how the h**l is he going to change it?
